According to the World Bank’s Doing Business Report 2019, Georgia ranks 6th out of 190 countries in terms of ease of doing business.
Georgia’s position improved by 3 places compared to the previous year, last year it was 82.8 points and became 83.28 points.
This is the result of 20 reforms implemented in the country over the past 6 years; the reforms include the institutional and regulatory environment.
These reforms include:
Starting a business,
building permission,
Connection to the electricity grid,
Property registration,
Protection of minority investor rights,
Getting credit,
Paying taxes,
Trade across borders,
Execution of contracts,
Insolvency.
